I'm currently using Picasa as my storage for my photos and I want it also be streamed onto my blogs.

Here are some nifty widgets for Picasa so that you can stream some photos in your blog or website.

Simple Javascript-based Picasa Widgets


This script can be use any platforms Blogger or Wordpress

To add this widget to your blog, copy the following code and paste into a sidebar widget (or directly in your template) where you would like this widget to be displayed. Be sure to replace “YOUR_USERNAME” with your own Picasa username!

Picasa Web Album Widget for Blogger


You will need your Picasa username to configure this widget for your needs, and can style the widget by adding CSS declarations to the skin section of your template.

Official Picasa Slideshow Widget


Log on to your Picasa Account click on the album you would like to embed. On the right-hand side of your page, you will see the option to “Link to this album”. Here you need to click on the “Embed slideshow” option which will cause a pop-up screen to appear. Choose the size of widget you prefer and any other options to configure for your needs. A preview of how your widget will appear is on the right-hand side of the options.



Once you’re done, the code to embed the widget in your blog is displayed in the pale yellow area. Simply copy this code and paste in your blog where you would like the slideshow to appear.

Plurk is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows users to send updates (otherwise known as plurks) through short messages or links, which can be up to 140 text characters in length.
